Became the Creator

Tati Limati is a shibari artist with 14 years of experience, uniting the philosophies of aikido, theater, and improvisational dance in her practice. Having trained under masters in Europe and Japan, she now teaches and directs international Rope Art School and Theater performances.

Philosophy & Mission

Tati Limati is a signature art project that beautifully merges the Japanese art of shibari with deep psychological practice.Built on the signature "4 Elements" methodology and the concept of Rope Intelligence, the art of tying becomes a path to emotional release, inner harmony, and body aesthetics. It helps cultivate empathy, physical awareness, and associative thinking.

Above all, this practice is a profound interpersonal dialogue. Every interaction takes place in a deeply trusting environment, rooted in discipline, love, acceptance, and absolute safety for both oneself and the partner.

Rope Art School

A dedicated space for mastering the technical, psychological, and safety aspects of shibari. Here, tying is taught as a "new language"—a unique tool for personal growth and developing the art of improvisation in life.Classes are strictly for adults (18+) and are open to everyone, from absolute beginners to experienced practitioners seeking to deepen their craft. Now permanently based in Tbilisi, Georgia, the school offers regular group workshops and private individual sessions.

Rope Art Theater

Shibari is a profound form of artistic self-expression. Rope Art Theater performances are built on the deep partnership between the guide and the one who trusts, transforming the stage into a space for authentic exploration. Each piece is rooted in real-life stories, exploring themes of human relationships, society, and personal identity. Depending on the creative vision, the rope serves either as a subtle metaphor or the absolute focal point. While these projects take place worldwide, the current focus is to introduce this bold, unexplored genre to the theatrical scene of Tbilisi, Georgia.

«We cultivate harmony between the body, the rope, and the aesthetic, transforming the space into a realm for a profound exploration of one's boundaries»Tati Limati
